- The new 1st Edition of D&D Mafia was the best game of D&D I ever played.
- The dead branch is for the Guard
- Despite it being fun the first time, there are definite problems with a game system where the party is virtually TPK'ed because one player rolls a '9' on one ten sided die.
- Write the game down so I understand it, then write the game down again so someone else can understand it.
- Grog/Rum is for the Captain to share with his men.
- Don't play poker if you've slept less than 2 hours in the past 48 hours and are awake solely from the grace of God, Red Bull and Vodka.
- JS, in a flash of brilliance, suggested that Legends should be played as pirates re-telling stories over a pint of rum at a pub in port. This may just be the way to go, or at least, the telling of the stories could be the way to go. The Rime was a long flashback, and so was Tales of the Black Freighter, which admittedly was derivative of Rime....
- It's really cool when friends let friends crash at their place, but the power of friendship cannot overcome allergic reactions to cats. (to K & E: Sorry we couldn't stay.)

Oh well. Still rolling a mishap 10% of the time is a little much for me. I am definitely going to house rule the, "If your WP Bonus, plus Invocation bonus are enough for your power to work then you don't have to roll rule."
Hey, I'm really glad you got a tricep. ^_^ That's awesome! Also, I'm planning on an House Warming/Open House Party on the 28th, so hopefully you guys can make it over. You may not notice it because you live there every day but you've done a lot to your house since I came over the last time and looked very nice. ^_^
I wish we could've hung out a bit more at the Con, but maybe we can next year. I hope you guys both had a lot of fun. ^_^
I'll tell Eric about the 28th. we'll totally do our best to come.
I'm going to sit down tonight and Thursday and bang out a schedule, and then start working on writing out the rules of the game. I don't know how long it will take to do that, it could be as early as next week or the end of the month. After that I'll write a pre-playtest version and I'll send that one along to you. Cool? ^_^
FYI, I like to call those four versions Alpha, Beta, Manuscript, and Layout. ;)
