Nevermind the fact that Peter Stormare is actually Swedish.
I'm starting to make it a life point to sit here and pop whatever soap bubbles of yours float my way. It was unintentional at first, but it's starting to be a bit of a sport.

That's even better! Part of my family is Swedish and it's a Swede working FOR a German Car Company that's what makes me proud. ;)
TEFLON BUBBLE C-C-COMBO BREAKER!
See the goal posts are over here where I just moved them, and that sounds like a fun game! How do we score points? I want to be a 4E Half-Elf Astral pact Warlock when we do play!

You're an American. Rather, you're a Phoenician. You're in a melting pot in a melting pot. To take pride in a Veedub commercial on these thin-blooded accounts is grasping at a straw for identity!
Not to mention that commercial is like, 4 years old. Yeah. I'll hit you on that point. Way to come to the party late!
And you're dumb!

I can't be proud of my heritage? My grandfather has traveled to Germany and followed our family back for a ton of generations. We're directly related to a Teutonic Knight...which is cool - if you're not Lithuanian, Polish, or Russian. ^_^
About 70% of my thin blood is German, and unlike my 'Irish', 'Scottish', 'Nordic', or 'Other' friends I kind of get the hard end when it comes to being proud of where your family is from. It's nice to see something that nods towards a shared past and beliefs that I can be proud of.
I could talk about the hollowness of the belief systems of the martial arts and how they're nothing more than a few overly-aggressive white boys pretending to understand a mish-mash of systems designed for use in a time and place that has little in common with today's world, but I won't. It's better to recognize what we share and celebrate it.
Better late than never, it still speaks to me today - I think I'll goes as 'Dieter' for Halloween - the 'Cool German'.
168 IQ says otherwise. I'm merely being flippant and not putting forth any effort - malaise and apathy are stalking horses for those who learn too young that many things come more easily for them than they do for others.
Nuthin' but Love.
